OUR team
We are a group of legendary university students who attend the one and only Queensland University of Technology. We are aiming to make a difference in the world, one QR code at a time by creating this wonderful new app. Due to COVID-19 ruining everyones lives, we have come together to rescue the public from the boredom and isolation of lockdown. Imagine solving local criminal cases on your weekend well you can just by one simple download.
Project Director
SARA OHLIN
As a Business and Creative Industries student I became both the project director and time management coordinator. I was in charge of focusing the team on all of the goals needed to complete the project. I did so by coordinating due dates, allocating tasks equally and overall just keeping the project on track. My main tasks were centered around the written components of the project whilst also coordinating the communications through all tasks to ensure clarity and consistency by every team member. My role was essential to achieve the final product and ensure a positive, constructive and helpful team environment throughout.
Editor & Writer
ISABELLA STEPHAN
As a fashion communication and journalist student I brought editing and writing skills to the team where I implemented my knowledge from the time I’ve spent interning for selected Brisbane publications and magazines into our prototype and milestones throughout the semester. I ensured that all written sections read well, were free of grammatical errors and depicted the questions precisely for the assessment pieces.
Visual Designer
LYI VEN TAN (ELVY)
Third-year Interactive and visual design student from Malaysia has contributed UX/UI designing skills in developing a low fidelity prototype and worked hand in hand with Sylvia to develop a high fidelity prototype for the project. My role as a visual designer also includes developing a website to exhibit and propose our project for the online exhibition.
Creative Director
FLETCHER O'NEIL
Film Production and Entertainment student Fletcher oozes creativity. With his creative mindset, outgoing personality and thinking outside the box vision he was perfect for the role as Creative Director. Throughout the project he came up with potential ways to improve the idea of the mystery app as well as researching the selected locations to enhance the mystery.
Visual Designer
SYLVIA WONG
Interactive and Visual Design student from Singapore, a visual designer role in the team works hand in hand with Elvy on the visual elements. I was also in-charge with the high fidelity prototype that was created on Figma by bringing in my experience in UI and UX design to implement into the app design.
